Especially before you buy a new blockmould, ask your supplier about the density variation in the block : there is nothing like a homogenous distribution of material in EPS blockmoulding, but some machinery suppliers come pretty close to this, while other simply tell you stories.
The bitter reality is : if you buy a cheap block mould, you may end up not being able to utilize it, since your market won´t accept the final product due to poor physical properties.
